Pros

The pay and benefits are equitable for the industry, for now... Some of the functional leaders and team members are truly passionate about the space and delivering quality results in an efficient manner. As we are see time and time again, these hardworking, passionate individuals are expected to take on more and more with little to no increase in compensation until they are burned out and move on.

Cons

There is so much bad to go over here. It has been well detailed in these reviews how awful the previous CEO was. While there have been some improvements with the new CEO and the overall movement of the company(actual movement on projects that were consistently delayed and over budget), that has come at the cost of transparency and cronyism. The diversity among leadership has disappeared, replaced by people who all know each other with no real understanding of their expertise and knowledge of the cannabis space. while this can work from time to time, there are countless examples of this philosophy going the wrong way. There was a RIF within a specific team with the expectation that those positions would not be backfilled. However a week later someone was on-boarded to take on the responsibilities of those who were let go, however since they had a different title it was not considered a backfill. There was no open process for the backfill and changing the title to not say it was a backfill is disrespectful to our intelligence. This is not the only instance of this happening, only the most recent. With the new CFO there is definitely a feel of a private equity/big money take over within leadership. Just because someone comes from banking does not mean the frameworks used in banking/PE work for cannabis. These frameworks and strategies are being rammed into the business without understanding the significant implications. The cracks are already showing in certain areas of the business. There have been instances of gaslighting and straight up lying by the CFO. It was pretty clear that they were looking to push people out and bring in their own team. Their lack of emotional intelligence, ability to coherently communicate their needs, organizational skills and systems knowledge/flexibility make me seriously wonder how they were able to become a CFO. If their LinkedIn history is any indication, they won't be a CFO at this company for long.

Pros

I’ve had a really positive experience working here. From day one, everyone has been welcoming and helpful, and I’ve always felt supported by my team. The people are great to work with, and there is a strong sense of connection across the company. I’ve also had opportunities to learn, grow, and take on projects that have a clear purpose.

Cons

Things can move quickly, so priorities may shift from time to time. It keeps the work interesting and provides opportunities to learn.
