Requires a long term mentality: Can probably find salaries that pay more, long term compensation after 5 years if investing in the company would likely return more overall. Can be politically oriented, although most companies can as well. Have a culture of high performance which isn't for everybody and can be hard to adapt to if you're not internally driven or can't maintain high standards and performance consistently. Career opportunities can be hard to come by and tend to be more focused around the construction side of the business (not a pro or con, just how the company works). Depending which area of the company you work in, work life balance can be hard to maintain.
