Close to home, anybody can work there even if it hurts the customer base, and directors have set a low, very low bar for what passes as doing a descent job..
Cons
Directors are easily fooled by the "favorite" employees. Most of these managers are in a sales support role and openly state they don't know some small piece of information so they can avoid accountability and send their issues elsewhere. Customer service has no idea what they are doing and their management team doesn't seem to care that the customer service department dumps their work on other departments. It basically comes to zero investment in bettering the teams, lazy managers and directors, and the staff runs the show.. If the staff gets upset with you then HR cuts your head off with little explanation and with zero support from your superiors.
