Pros
Excellent clinical training. The tenured crewmembers, what's left of them, are great to work with. The medical directors are approachable, easy to talk to.
Cons
The most dishonest lying backstabbing "managers" I have ever heard of. They have taken a phenomenal company and literally ran it in the ground. It took a little while but they have gotten rid of all of the experienced competent staff. What is left is a bunch of immature, inexperienced people who aren't smart enough to know that they are in a very dangerous position. The company will not have your back, unless they have something to gain. More likely, they will target you in order to make a name for themselves. If walking around with crosshairs on your back isn't enough, then there is the awesome schedule. You are expected, no...demanded, to eat, sleep, live and breathe for PHI. Not your family. If you don't believe it, try to take off. It has to be asked for 6 MONTHS in advance. But no worries, this is way better for your work/life balance. And last, but not least...they will lie like the dogs they are to get their way. Too many eggs and folks looking to cut your throat to better themselves. Good luck
