Pros
Always something new to learn. They feed the permanent employees well. Good work from home policy. On-site cafe and plenty of parking.
Cons
If you are a 30 something Electrical Engineer, you can walk right in. Anybody else had better be related to someone already there for a few years, or you're not getting in as a perm. employee. Avg time for a contractor to convert to FT Perm= 4.5 years. Perm employees feel contractors are there to do most of the work while perms are busy maximizing their perks. A pervasive lack of accountability. Managers are disconnected and have little idea what goes on in their depts. Much of the time, you never see them, and they don't want to hear about problems. A reactive v.s. a proactive management style, all the way to the top of the organization.
