Pros
It's a tech company. We live under capitalism. The world is kind of on fire. But relative to those conditions, Plaid is an excellent place to work. At the end of the day, people are what makes Plaid a wonderful place to work. I feel like I can be myself. I feel like my voice is heard and I'm seen as an expert in what I do (which as a woman, I've not always had at the workplace). I'm sure some teams are better than others, but I feel really safe on my team.
Cons
- Layoffs weren't fun in December, but the whole tech industry is going through that now. - Sometimes it can be a little too democratic in decision making at Plaid, but they are always trying to balance inclusivity and speed so its a work in process.
