Pros
Everyday was an opportunity to learn something new about one of your coworkers. The work wasn't difficult and was "fun" as far as repetitious work goes. While I worked on the floor it was easy to see progress you had made and see your hours or labor produce real products. I was able to rotate through many different positions and try lots of things fitting in wherever hands were needed, this helped to keep down on the monotony.
Cons
The work is hands on and tedious. Although it can be fun to see how quickly you can produce something (without compromising safety or quality), it was long hours typically doing the same thing for 8+ hours a day. The leadership often would give mixed signals to the employees about what quality or amount they were expected to achieve.
