Pros

Exposure to well-known brands creates learning experiences. Company trips. Nice and talented coworkers.

Cons

You will get shiny gifts and have a lot of events that are exciting for the first couple months. However, you will quickly realize that they are an attempt by the company to manufacture complacency and an artificial culture while you are being overworked and underpaid at the same time. Unfortunately, you cannot effectively have a compensation conversation with anyone, because your bosses do not know your compensation and the HR department that does know, completely turns over every few months. I wouldn’t expect the company to shift priorities since these perks allow them to attract bright-eyed college grads that they can exploit for a year or two until they burn out and look elsewhere.
