Pros
They do allow remote work.
Cons
If you are seasoned in the field, it's doubtful you'll feel a sense of accomplishment in working here. To work here is to accept that whatever the most inefficient way to do something is, that's the way it will/should be done. You have to "bid" for time off and it's done by seniority. The department as a whole is chaotic and it feels like you're working with your hair on fire at all times. They do a lot of promoting from within but it isn't always conductive to having the best and the brightest in positions where that's what is needed. Work life balance is little more than a pipe dream here, regardless of what you're told during an interview or onboarding. You'll learn of procedural updates by accident as it may or may not be communicated with something changes. For such a large bank, the investment in technology is lacking as it can be pretty unreliable.
