Pros

POSH is a great company to work for. If you're looking for a way into the private event industry on the entertainment side of things, there's nowhere better to be. The DJs are all experienced in private events, clubs, bars, radio, and beyond and the contacts, knowledge, and experience you can gain here is invaluable if you take advantage of it and work for it. Even if you're not looking to make a career in this business, for a college student or someone with some time to kill on the weekends it's solid extra money. And honestly the best part of POSH is that everyone is pretty much family. Everyone gets along, there's extremely few conflicts between employees, and if you have a comment/suggestion management is very willing to listen.

Cons

If you can't handle late nights, this isn't the job for you, but it's made very clear during hiring that POSH primarily does weddings, which routinely end between 11 PM and 1 AM depending on the event, plus breakdown time. No one should be surprised by this after going through the interview process. Other than that, no cons.

Pros

Fun environment Generally pleasant coworkers Possibility of high tip Free meals when in venue Gas & toll reimbursement (sometimes lol) Flexible schedule (kind of) Fast promotion Parties are fun! Free, tailored suit upon promotion Listing positions' pays here: Sub roadie- 125/gig Photobooth attendant- 180/gig Head roadie- 275/gig

Cons

Limited pay Long hours (generally 10+ hour shifts) Must occasionally use your personal Some employees are insufferable. Frequency of work varies Work on Friday & weekends Lots of physical labor Starting position sucks!!! Starting position (sub roadie) is viewed as replaceable. Some roadies may not treat you as respectfully as they should. Truly, it is NOT worth it to work here unless you plan on staying long enough to be promoted (5-10 ish gigs).

Pros

- I had the opportunity to meet and work with many great people during my time at POSH DJs. - The work environment was often fun, energetic, and fast-paced. - I learned a great deal about A/V production, event operations, lighting, and special effects. - It's a solid entry point for individuals interested in exploring careers in DJing, event production, or the A/V industry.

Cons

- Compensation could be more competitive, especially for non-DJ roles. - Recognition and advancement opportunities often seem focused primarily on those pursuing the DJ career path. - The company places a strong emphasis on moving employees into DJ positions, which may not align with everyone's career goals. - Employees who are interested in supporting roles rather than becoming DJs may feel that their contributions are less valued compared to those on the DJ track.
