Pros

Mostly nice people, interesting work, freedom to define your own position. Opportunities to take on challenging projects without micromanagement from above. A lot of freedom. Availability of on-line trainings.

Cons

Compensation below the market. Difficult to grow: people will grow faster outside the company. No single approach to work (best practices, IT, treatment of employees). The corporate culture is not strong: what is self-identity of a "PPG-worker"? do eployees know the principles and core values of the company? do they follow them?

Pros

- Education benefits (but access/support depends on your manager) - Flexible workplace (work hours/wfh) - Diverse workforce.

Cons

- Does not support employee promotions. Very difficult to get promoted if you are not an engineer. - Low pay, salary increases depend on manager. For the past couple years, most employees did not even receive adjustment for inflation. - Constantly loses top talent because management is unwilling to invest to keep good employees.
