Pros

Teaching some of the classes and working with the clients and many of the staff is at times very enjoyable.

Cons

Upper management seems to think they should emulate a toxic form of corporate culture, even though this is a nonprofit mental health organization. Examples: Administrators in top 5 positions, at least one of whom has zero clinical background, rake in nearly 6 times the salaries of most other staff (about $250k, which is a matter of public record). Manipulative tactics such as scapegoating and gas lighting abound ("You say that you have been assigned an impossible amount of documentation? Well, how is your time management?" Or: "You say that your coworker yelled at you and others? You must be too sensitive." Bullies tend to get rewarded with promotions. One particular staff member was promoted and then proceeded to either push out or fire a long succession of staff whom they irrationally saw as a threat. Passive aggressiveness and immaturity of those who are put in charge is a glaring problem because it increases frustration and stress levels and also frankly puts clients and staff at risk when there is a crisis.

Pros

work from home, Overtime 2.5x

Cons

leaderships sucks, some managers suck, high turnover rate, training is a joke, if you speak up about the work and let them know the flaws is when harassment starts then boom retaliation. It be one supervisor per shift with over 30 employees, everyone is not treated fair, I joined the job as I thought I would be assisting people going thru crisis, well that was a lie they are helping providers commit fraud and the pic is let clueless on why. I only been there a few months and over 20 people including several supervisors quit within a week. This company lies to get federal grants and I cant wait until they are defunded and a better organization takes over. CEO make 5 figures, and the pay is only $$20???! Its a time limit on care, we can't talk more than 20 minutes without being told to wrap a call, there should be no time limit on anyone's crisis, never ever again, do not come here.
