Pros

Working with seniors. Making them beautiful because some of them getting their hair done is the only thing they look forward too.

Cons

They expect you to work full time for part time pay. They totally take advantage if you. They expect a lot out of you and when you need them to help you they don't . This company is horrible. Stay far away. If you really are using these reviews to help make your decision really read them carefully. They wanted their employees to write good reviews about them because there are so many bad reviews against them.

Here at PS Lifestyle working with the seniors and working in our salons is always a great experience-they are great people and the built in clientele is a great perk, and we're glad that you agree! Thank you for using your talents to make our clients beautiful.

Pros

I liked the hair products but with a small budget there was never enough supplies

Cons

Working in geriatric care in a healthcare environment needs additional training to work on mental and physical challenge people. In a healthcare base salon, you need a receptionist, transporter, shampoo, person, and beautician. They expect one beautician to do the job of four people. The beautician who works for PS Salon is not allowed to leave the salon to do assessment on the elderly people who are wheelchair-bound and bedbound. The managers are all bullies and are clueless on how to operate a healthcare base salon. They need to certify these beauticians and give them the proper training to work in nursing homes. 50% commission with a no tipping policy. The prices were too high for salon services that forced elderly people to suffer personal grooming neglect.
