Pros

If you like being away from home 20+ days a month, making below the poverty line, and being mistreated by passengers, management, and scheduling- then this is the job for you! Okay, but in all seriousness, the actual pros of the job are.. - same flight benefits as American Airlines employees (hence the 5 star benefits rating) - paid 4 weeks of training (American Airlines is 6 weeks of unpaid training) - flexible schedule - you will meet some amazing people and build lifelong friendships

Cons

PSA has absolutely NO respect for their flight attendants and you WILL be treated like you are dispensable. The AFA union is NOT on the side of the flight attendants or else our contract would have been passed YEARS ago. They trick you into thinking they're the highest paying regional airline when in reality, they start everyone at year 3 pay (which is a meager $27/hour), meaning you won't see a raise for the first 3 years...and most people don't even last that long with PSA!

Pros

The company is full of smart, hardworking and knowledgable people who understand what needs to be done to make things happen.

Cons

For some reason, even with the latest regime change, none of the upper management appear to see or listen to improvements that could improve operations or employee retention. The chain of command goes both ways and maybe the information is going up. Maybe they hear but they do not listen to the reasoning- even for items that would not cost anything.
