Pros

PSCU is a great company to work for! Client focused, collaborative environment. The company as a whole cares for the employees by offering many benefits throughout the year. The company still lives by its founder's mission that the employees are really the most valuable asset. There's lots of ways employees can give back and it makes it a truly awesome place to come to every day.

Cons

There are a couple of bad apples in IT management that promote and foster a bad working environment. These individuals don't seem to understand the value the employees in their area bring. They are very demeaning to their staff and lead by insults and threats rather than fostering a positive and collaborative environment that the rest of the company lives by. They will lie and backstab their way around, and they bully employees on a regular basis. It's surprising they have gotten away with this for as long as they have since most departments in the company know of their ways. The amount of lies that come from them is astounding, as well as the amount of things that are covered up which are very questionable as far as work ethics go. None of the employees under them feel safe anymore as they have threatened their jobs in the past. There has also been turnover in the last few years because of their bad influence in IT and several good employees were lost and a lot of knowledge went with them. They are a threat to the values that the company was founded on, which is why it's surprising that they have been there this long. Once they are gone things will drastically improve for that area.

Pros

The company's culture is inclusive, they are very good at soliciting feedback from employees, they utilize Clifton StrengthsFinder, they are trusting and empower employees to be at their best. They offer Tuition Reimbursement and have Mental Health programs and several other wellness programs that employees are encouraged to participate in. PSCU is consistently working on employee engagement programs and DEI initiatives. The organization is truly caring of their staff. Employees are recognized often for their good work.

Cons

There is a tendency toward a falsely positive façade in my division. There are many system related challenges in the Contact Center, which makes it challenging to train new employees. There are times when poor behavior is overlooked and seems not to be addressed appropriately, or it is inconsistent. Often there are team members that are not recognized for their efforts and others that are not held accountable. There are times when team members let others take the work they don't want to do, because it is not work that is highly recognized.
