Pros

The coworkers are very friendly at PT Solutions and overall very helpful. This position is good for people with little to no medical front office experience but want to get into the medical field.

Cons

The front office does not get paid enough for the amount of work that is done. Upper management continuously changes policies and procedures which puts more work on the therapist and PSC's. Every two weeks you have a meeting on top of a monthly meeting during lunch that is 9/10 pointless and could of easily been sent as an email. In the beginning they tell you about monthly bonuses but the goals are sometimes impossible to meet. Upper management is constantly on your back not realizing that you already have a million things to do on a daily basis. The clinics are open 7am-7pm which is convenient for the patients but not for the employees. If you have a nice therapist he/she might let you work traditional work hours 8-5 but if not you will have to be in the clinic during peak hours which depending on the location could easily be 10am-7pm. Also taking off of work for doctor's visits and PTO is a pain because you have to find your own coverage. Good luck getting a raise! When it comes to getting a raise it's like pulling teeth which is disappointing especially when it comes to the top performers in the company. Upper management will make promises of raises and/or promotions and not follow through. ALL CLINICS ARE UNDERSTAFFED!!! If you are a PSC please beware that you will have to be an aide as well. During the interview they make it seem like it's an "occasional" thing. It's not!! The company tries to cut cost by not hiring an aide for every clinic. They make the therapist share aides but the minute the home clinic needs the aide back they go and you will have to pick up the slack.

Pros

Lots of opportunities to grow if you're willing to put yourself out there. The continuing education offerings are a huge plus and make it easy to keep learning. If you're motivated, there are plenty of opportunities to take on new challenges and responsibilities. You're not stuck in one lane. There are opportunities in clinical practice, leadership, teaching, and operations. The company invests quite a bit in developing its employees compared to a lot of places

Cons

Communication across different levels of the organization can occasionally be inconsistent during periods of growth and change. Expectations around productivity and performance are high, which can be motivating for some but may not be the right fit for everyone. Work-life balance can vary depending on your clinic and its needs

Pros

Colleagues are great! Fun, young culture They promote fast (way too fast - it’s because of turnover and workflows so convoluted they couldn’t get someone external to learn them)

Cons

Why fix the problem if you could find a workaround that is more difficult than the logical solution? You will be told the most convoluted workflow you’ve ever heard, employed by 0 other healthcare providers, is actually the only option unfortunately! But don’t ask why, they won’t be able to tell you. During “crunch times”, expect to work the hours of an investment banker for the pay of a fast food worker. Maybe an insultingly meager “discretionary bonus” if you’re lucky. Heavy micro-management to cover for totally ignoring the actual problem. The longer you work in a certain roll, the less you are paid in terms of seniority. There are brand new hires making 30% more than those who have worked there for years.
