Pros

I do not have any pros.

Cons

Pace is a company that prioritizes making as much money as possible while trying their very best to pay everyone as little as possible. A typical day was easily 12 hours, while some analysts were working 14 to 16 hour days. I had little to no training, but was constantly demanded to meet all kinds of expectations. The project managers are pressured to accept all work regardless of the lab's ability to complete it. This often resulted in arguments between departments and work being received late. And since the work was always received late, we were always asked, often last minute, to work all day on Saturday and Sunday. Soon enough, everyone was so stressed and overworked that most days resulted in everyone screaming at each other. Upper management always looked to blame analysts for not meeting demands instead of trying to find ways to make things easier for staff. The operations manager even lied to the regional manager about me and made plans to terminate me in order to cover for his laziness and incompetency. Accepting that job was one of the worst decisions I've made, but leaving that job was one of the best. Please avoid this employer if you have any respect for yourself.

We take feedback regarding workload, training, scheduling, communication, and leadership very seriously. A safe, respectful, and supportive work environment is a core expectation for every employee. While some roles can experience periods of high volume depending on client needs, our goal is to manage workloads responsibly and provide the training and resources needed for employees to be successful. We continually evaluate staffing levels, process efficiencies, and cross‑department coordination to help reduce bottlenecks and improve workflow. Please reach out to the HR team at the corporate office. We would love to chat with you.

Pros

Pace had an amazing work environment, the amenities available to employees were far beyond what was necessary for the job. Everyone was extremely friendly and worked well together when group work and collaboration was necessary. Truthfully I was looking forward to working every day being a part of this company! This job helped me realize my passion and helped me decide to attend college for environmental science.

Cons

I personally have nothing negative to say other than the location is quite out of the way for most of the people who worked there. I didn't mind the commute but it was a common topic spoken about in the workplace.

Pros

Good people but all had issues with upper management, and the company entirely.

Cons

Swapped ownership and no longer gives bonuses and, did not address harassment issues seriously enough to resolve it. Due to down sizes 20ish people were let go all who were part time. Injuries were followed with the firing of that person for “unrelated reasons” but seemed odd. I was also asked to do something that did not follow the guidelines I needed to follow incase of forensic use. And employee shouldn’t be asked to go against guidelines and it should have been handled by someone more experienced.
