Pros

Company cares about employees. Flexible schedule and willingness to work with employees to accommodate personal lives. I have seen company take donations of sick and vacation time to help those who need time off for emergencies. Also worked around my school schedule so that I could maintain full time status and continue to work. Actively trying to improve both work environment and customer experience. While this is a hard balance and will take years, Pace is trying to make work enjoyable for employees and results desirable for customers. Accepting of new ideas and CEO is involved with each lab. His yearly visits are always informative and show his interest in everyone's well being. Room for advancement and decent raises. The industry does not pay well as a whole, but Pace pays well. Yearly raises of 3% are nothing to scoff at in this economy. I have been with Pace 3 years and have had 2 promotions on top of yearly raises. You have to be willing to start with the crappy jobs and work your way up though!! Great coworkers! Fun and personalities are encouraged Bench level employees and SR management get it!

Cons

Middle management has slight disconnect: budget is over valued and opportunity costs are not taken into consideration. Need to keep long term gains into consideration as well as short term. Sales needs to join the "team" and not see themselves as an outside group.

Pros

Pace had an amazing work environment, the amenities available to employees were far beyond what was necessary for the job. Everyone was extremely friendly and worked well together when group work and collaboration was necessary. Truthfully I was looking forward to working every day being a part of this company! This job helped me realize my passion and helped me decide to attend college for environmental science.

Cons

I personally have nothing negative to say other than the location is quite out of the way for most of the people who worked there. I didn't mind the commute but it was a common topic spoken about in the workplace.

Pros

Good people but all had issues with upper management, and the company entirely.

Cons

Swapped ownership and no longer gives bonuses and, did not address harassment issues seriously enough to resolve it. Due to down sizes 20ish people were let go all who were part time. Injuries were followed with the firing of that person for “unrelated reasons” but seemed odd. I was also asked to do something that did not follow the guidelines I needed to follow incase of forensic use. And employee shouldn’t be asked to go against guidelines and it should have been handled by someone more experienced.
