Pros
Very little fear of lay-offs.
Cons
Upper Management/Executives don't care about the employees at all. For a company that constantly says safety of our employees is the number one focus they certainly don't walk the talk. Forcing employees back to the office as the COVID -19 pandemic surges is a perfect example. Then telling employees if you don't return to the office you will receive a 10% pay cut is deplorable. The company has regressed significantly the past couple of years and has gone back to micro-managing it's employees. Any decision making capability an employee or manager once had has been systematically removed. They've created a huge system of bottlenecks with approvals and authority levels it's near impossible to actually get anything done. If you like coming to an environment where you can give more than 100%, think creatively and share your ideas only to be told no or brushed aside like yesterday's help leading you to slowly become more and more bitter and loathing the person you've become all while banging your head against a brick wall...this is the place for you.
