Check with former sales employees before interviewing - Sales Manager Pacific Office Automation Employee Review

Pros

Sales Training is great for someone inexperienced right out of college. Selling the highest end copiers, printers, and print management software. Name known in the area.

Cons

The work itself is not the issue. Long hours (7a-7p) sure, but the sales team culture here (as many have noted) is embarrassing. For example 1) constant forced happy hours regardless of person or family obligations 2) public humiliation in front of peers by management for performance not meeting expectations 3) Time off / Vacation was non-existent in the 3 years I worked there for all sales account reps and mgrs (only LT sales employees could take time off without shaming)

Pros

The health insurance is good.

Cons

You are expected to work long hours and wear many hats while being paid very little. There is no transparency into how your performance affects your raises and pay.
