Pros

This was my first job after college so I had little reference for working a 9 to 5 job. I though 9 to 5 meant 9 to 5. That isn’t the case with POA, but it’s been worth it. The benefits offered are amazing. Full medical and dental with no premiums and a 401K match of 6% is pretty much unheard of. I’ve also found that the company can be very forgiving. Learning a new job it tough and my experience with POA is if you completely fail one month they just pick you up, brush you off, and tell you to do better next time.

Cons

Expect to work a lot. Working late and weekends is common practice for everyone. So at lease you won’t be at the office alone. In my experience the upfront training but a lot of learn as you go. You only learn the wrong vs. right way after you’ve made a mistake. This can be pretty frustrating.

Pros

The health insurance is good.

Cons

You are expected to work long hours and wear many hats while being paid very little. There is no transparency into how your performance affects your raises and pay.
