I wasted the first year and a half in a department where my skills and talents were suppressed. I mastered every bit of the job and provided the highest level of customer service to all the residents, guests, and fellow co-workers at all times and was not acknowledged by my superiors. I was denied training/schooling to become more helpful in my department due to budget cuts.
