High turnover, low satisfaction - Certified Nursing Assistant Pacific Retirement Services Employee Review

Pros

Some of the nursing staff are great to work with Lots of opportunities to pick up extra hours CNAs that are working toward a nursing degree can usually move directly to a licensed nurse position when they pass their state boards

Cons

Serious staffing issues. The facility I work at seems chronically understaffed, with very high employee turnover and low satisfaction, at least among CNAs. I'm asked to work double shifts, come in early, or stay late almost every day, though I seldom do. I understand that companies get call-outs, but isn't that what on-call staff are there for?
