Pros
Great discount, if you're reliable and enthusiastic you will probably get promoted, good benefits, fun relaxing atmosphere, casual dress code, decent music, and the company actually does listen to the customers and employees as to what kind of things they want to see happen, they try really hard, but sometimes just don't see how little things here and there at the store level make a lot of their ideas futile, they do introduce a lot of new ideas (mostly taken from things competitors have been doing forever) but they do try to make it a fun place to work, they encourage writing on fitting room mirrors, submitting artwork and such to the employee newsletter, and they send goodie bags to all the stores during back to school and holiday season as a means of encouragement. i have personally met quite a few people from corporate and they are actually really cool and they have a good sense of the socal vibe that the company is going for
Cons
technology and merchandising techniques are way behind competitors, terrible pay, no one's gotten raises in years except in the case of a promotion, there is a lot of favoritism in most stores not all, but unless you have a manager that has a good deal of experience behind them, they're probably gonna allow a very gossipy store. workload is doable, but often unnecessary. payroll is absolutely ridiculous, sometimes there is only 1 person working for several hours
