Pros
I've worked for 2 years with Pactera in a project manager and lead developer role. I think the work-life balance here is probably the best part about working here. My coworkers are very smart and friendly. Senior management is focused on becoming a leader in digital platform engineering, which is what I want to get into more. Everyone here is interested in learning more about the latest trends in tech, so it’s a very academic type of discussion. The benefits are pretty good and the office is pretty clean. There is a mentality here that you control your own destiny. If you have a creative idea and want to get support, the senior management is open to hearing it.
Cons
Much like other companies, Pactera depends on proper process and chain of command. This can be a learning experience for some, but if you know how decisions are made than it’s no big deal. In the end, the company likes ideas that can bring in revenue, so if your solution does this, you’ll get support.
