Pros
Panda express is one of the best fast food industry stores I have had the pleasure to work for. It fosters a sense of community and trust with you and you peers. There is plenty of advancement opportunities and opportunities for individual growth. The job can be challenging at times due to how busy it can get, but that's to be expected at any fast food store. Pay is good, and most of all I love that my manager and all the managers I have met from other stores are all really nice and truly want to see you succeed and empower you. I was ready to give up on fast food and panda express was gonna be the last place I had worked at for fast food if it didn't work out. But I am so glad that I took the chance because it has definitely been worth it. I have been here for 3 years and plan to be here for many years to come!
Cons
Advancement can take a little while longer because you are thoroughly trained how to do the job the right way. but I like that I am trained correctly! Unless you are a manager you don't get PTO which kind of stinks. Everybody needs a break from their job every now and then, regardless of what your job is. So PTO is kind of a must, but I have hopes that Panda Express will realize this one day and be more willing to give PTO to non management full time employees.
