Pros

The store is small & fancy looking. Jobs is easy because customers are happy to buy so no much pushing a sales is needed.

Cons

Owner put way to much pressure on Managers so that negative energy is pass down to Sales Associates. Pandora demands way too much for the little pay of $9 per hour. There is not commissions. When you first get hired the employee discount is only 25% off and you are not allow to wear any other jewelry but Pandora. Must wait a full year to get 40% off. They make you remove or cover a tiny nose piercing, also visible tattoo is not allow unless you are the manager. Everyone get pressure to sell more than to items in order to get more hours to work. The dress code is super restricted for example : No leggings, No Uggs boots not even under your slacks pants. No scarfs at all. not nail polish…the list can go on. Sales associated get 30 minutes lunch break if working over 5 hours. If you work more than 5 hours they do not allow you to take a 15 min break, so you must hide in the bathroom if a break is needed. so if you work from 8am to 5pm you only eat at the unpaid 30 min lunch , thats it! Store have monthly mandatory staff meetings at 8am and managements does not provide coffee. Pandora does not provide water to team.

Pros

Easy scheduling, often works with vacations and time off requests to the best of ability including extended emergency time off, held jobs and re-hired as business allowed. Opportunities for monthly bonuses and commission on certain product; store manager does push for sales targets but also encourages and incentivizes wins and celebrations. Often brings snacks and drinks for the team. Contributed to a lot of the sales herself and always champions the wins for the store. Has won a few Pandora contests since I’ve worked there and taken the team out for events and fun activities to bond with, fill the fridge etc. Store manager is quirky but can tell enjoys the job. Would work here again.

Cons

Less room for advancement since it’s a franchise but always cross-training for future benefit

Cons

Employees under managment were not allowed to eat in the backroom (i:e part-time, sales) You were not allowed to sit at any point unless clocked out. No employee benefits, no competitive pay. You were expected to finish work off the clock if you didn't complete it in store. Management often used vulgar languag towards employees for bad sales performance. Employees were often pushed to get credit card applications to customers regardless of age. The GM often complained about employees to other employees openly.
