Pros
Great company with a sound and stable business plan. As a general rule, this is a company with integrity and a solid culture. After working with Panera, you will know how to do it all. From scheduling to food cost management, training to recruiting. If you are lucky enough to find yourself in a team that works together, you are golden, but this situation is far and few between.
Cons
In the Northern Virginia market, the company is seriously struggling. Few hold integrity as a value and most will step on you to get ahead. For a company with a "no jerks" policy, it's ironic that Panera employees work in such hostile conditions. Each location tends to have one core manager bearing the brunt of the work, with all other team members floating along. It should be noted that turnover is very high and most employees are seeking other work.
