Pros
good work/life balance with most nights and weekends off. like running your own business. meet a lot of new people, visit corporate offices, big companies. decent money while going to school or just out of school. free food. flexibility. good staff, management. people always love to see panera being delivered. good help and tips from regional coordinator and other catering coordinators.
Cons
last minute call ins make the job very stressful. hard to say no because you have sales goals to meet. hourly pay could be better. a ton of tasks to get done everyday, from making the food yourself, packaging each order, delivering the food in a 15 min window, making confirmation calls, making call backs and account maintenance calls, marketing to get new business to keep up with sales goals, monthly marketing goals, inputing client data into computer and then stocking/prepping for the next day. lastly helping the cafe during their busy lunch rush after you were busy running around all day, but the cafe staff weren't doing nearly as much.
