Pros
If you are hired to a store with plenty of employees, you are mostly free to have the time off that you need. Some hours are flexible, and there is always a limited ability to move up.
Cons
The entire operation runs on a thin string. If one person of management leaves the store, the rest have to work significantly higher hours and pick up the slack of the store with no reward. Poor wages, and anyone under management tends to live in fear of losing their job on a daily basis
