Pros
Can develop lasting friendships with coworkers, flexible hours, can gain management experience without having prior management experience.
Cons
Job expectattoos for the General Managers are not realistic. Labor goals cannot be met while providing the service goals provided and maintaining the cleanliness and high productivity at the same times. Constant micromanaging from office. District managers change their responses to what fits the current situation and never follow through or come to their stores to coach or develop managers or staff but constantly criticize the management. They claim to focus on retention but treat employees so terrible the only reason anyone stays is because of who they work with. Very underpaid for the day to day expectations and hustle required in a high volume store.
