Pros
They’re honest and will work with you if you are willing to work with them. This is a great first company to get your feet wet with. They’ll teach you what you need to know. Decent pay. Is it fantastic? No but, you’ll make a decent living.
Cons
If you are working out of Illinois with PTI it can be hectic at times since they are mainly out of Wisconsin. Running for them out of Wisconsin is great. You have decent terminals and maintenance team. Out of Illinois it’s a hit or miss where you’ll park or get your truck fixed. It’s got its pros and cons. They’ve recently changed the attendance policy and it’s not great. Save your vacation time because you’re going to need it for doctors appointments, and such. They try to say the attendance policy if fair because office staff is held to the same standards but office staff is hybrid/ remote with working from home for two days out of the week. I’m sure they can go to the doctors on their hour lunch break unlike the drivers. Not the same standards.
