Pros

• PaperCut empowers its employees to think creatively and speak up with new ideas (you can go directly to the CEO with your concerns or epiphanies; he loves hearing from anyone and everyone - crazy cool!) • PaperCut trusts its employees to balance a fun work environment while still being productive and independent (5:00:01p is ping pong tournament time!) • PaperCut treats its employees really well – fair pay, incredible leave, great benefits, awesome office treats and celebrations, and most importantly, respect and appreciation • PaperCut puts a lot of energy into sustaining the chill, close culture which drew all of us in to begin with

Cons

• While we're encouraged to speak up with ideas for improvement and change, it often seems like those ideas get dropped due to lack of team resources (time, dev access, other priorities)

Thanks “Proud PaperCutter”. We really do pride ourselves on the culture that has been built through our dedicated teams, including the competitive ping pong tournament! We truly value your feedback and have begun exciting new adventures that will allow us to bring the ideas of our PaperCutters to life. As well as this, we’re creating new feedback loops into our leadership team (LT) that we hope you will benefit from.

Pros

Bonus scheme You get paid if you work.

Cons

The leadership at this company is the worst I’ve seen in my entire career. The CEO clearly plays favorites these people get all the attention and praise. This year, one of the rudest and most inappropriate employees was actually rewarded for being “direct” during an all hands meeting. There are problems everywhere, and constant layoffs just to hit targets. The People team is honestly the worst I’ve ever dealt with and take forever to resolve anything.
