Pros
- Smart, nice, cool people - Great product (I actually use it and the business model is easy to understand) - Exciting new products in the works - Free snacks & beer - Fun company events (parties, outings, movie nights, etc.) - Nice office Going through a lot of change, but I've been a here a while and have seen lots of change in that time-that's what happens at a startup. The change is all in service of building a scalable platform and providing great new product that people seem to be really excited about internally.
Cons
The company has gone through a lot over the last few months. There was a layoff associated with the closing of the paper business and it was hard for some people to say goodbye to friends on the paper customer service team. Additionally, a lot of the engineering and product team was reorganized to help the company re-focus in the digital space and streamline workflows- which is great, but it's been bumpier than I hoped. Some employees have left post-restructure and seeing those things happen in short order can be tough on morale. Management has been pretty honest and reflective throughout changes, talking about departures publicly and sharing exit data with the company- which isn't easy to do. They've also been asking for feedback and seem to genuinely care about making people happy and excited. The team has lost some people along the way but overall has been really resilient and for the most part is pretty psyched about what we are building!
