Pros
- great work/life balance. be accountable for the work you sign up for; have flexibility in having a life outside of work. - leadership listens to everyone, the founders of the companies say hello to everyone in the hallways, and super approachable. - communication/alignment/tech continues to mature year after year. hasn't been a year that has gone by that i haven't seen noticeable growth in these key areas. - engineers opinions matter. we are building out things in a way that is scalable and maintainable. of course we hustle at times like every company, but we are given a lot of latitude in how create software and how we run our teams. - leadership supports career decisions. flexibility to switch roles within the company (within reason).
Cons
personally, i don't have any cons. this is the best job that i've had so far in my career. there are some "cons", but they are universal to any organization. i don't list them as cons because we are always working on them and improving on them. mostly revolving around communication, alignment, etc...
