Pros

Fast Paced - We've figured out product market fit, and now need to scale nationally. It makes for some potentially long, but rewarding days. Autonomy - there's no time for micro managing - you have to want to lead projects and set your own daily schedule Mission - We're literally removing the fax machine from health systems....why hasn't this already happened? In the end, we're saving patients from getting re-injured or worse. Team outings - we have some team members who really push culture -- team outings are not mandatory, but get good showings.

Cons

Sometimes the pros are the cons -- the fast pace and autonomy isn't for everyone. If you're looking for a more rigid day to day schedule, Parachute won't be for you just yet.

Pros

Healthcare mission has potential impact Some talented individual contributors

Cons

This was honestly one of the worst places I've ever worked. The company was obsessed with tracking every "employee productivity" metric imaginable, which made the work environment feel suffocating and stressful. It seemed like they would always demand more output from teams without considering that their own actions or lack of leadership could be causing problems - like constantly changing directions and never having a clear plan for where we were headed. The whole experience left me questioning how much leadership actually cared about employees, especially after they laid people off in early 2025. Sometimes layoffs are necessary, but the timing, execution, and obvious setup left me feeling sick to my stomach.
