Pros

- Interesting work - Fully-remote - Good amount of transparency from leadership about company's roadmap for the next few years - Friendly coworkers - Iterating on existing processes is welcomed - Good pay

Cons

Being in a growth stage, there's an ongoing need to try to maintain focus on a few larger objectives rather than stretch ourselves across too many opportunities at once. Thus far, it seems like this need is being given sufficient attention and energy. Being healthcare-compliant is important and great, and can also be a little bit of momentum-breaker in terms of getting your work done, but I haven't experienced this in any seriously negative way. Like with many companies in the tech space, the amount of diversity could use improvement, but the company so far seems earnest in its efforts to improve.

Pros

Healthcare mission has potential impact Some talented individual contributors

Cons

This was honestly one of the worst places I've ever worked. The company was obsessed with tracking every "employee productivity" metric imaginable, which made the work environment feel suffocating and stressful. It seemed like they would always demand more output from teams without considering that their own actions or lack of leadership could be causing problems - like constantly changing directions and never having a clear plan for where we were headed. The whole experience left me questioning how much leadership actually cared about employees, especially after they laid people off in early 2025. Sometimes layoffs are necessary, but the timing, execution, and obvious setup left me feeling sick to my stomach.
