Pros

Great colleagues to work with, great software products and technology, attractive salary and benefits.

Cons

Company has no long sighted vision and has poor planning. Eventhough company has great products, but the management is very impatient and the marketing is very poor, managers are all non-technical and take haste decisions. They just need people to sell their products, their is no formal training, no growth for an employee and no career advancement opportunities, lots of politics, no career guidance, no mentorship, no team work attitude. They talk a lot about "One Paradigm" but their is no implementation. Not a very rewarding company to work at. If you are looking for a long term career , please don't join this company. Don't give up your job for this company if you have choice. This company is run by only few technical people, rest are poor managers, non-technical and sales people.

Great teamwork across all departments! Never worked in a better work environment in my career. VP of HR is outstanding. His attitude in regards to Work/Life Balance is commendable and much appreciated!

Cons

I don't have anything to add here.

Pros

Excellent vision for an end-to-end solution started by Leadership Team under John Gibson, Jr. In spite of economic conditions, and challenges - which required a shift in direction. The core of the company is sound and a great place to work. That early leadership work to reposition the company has redefined "Oil Field Services" by separating intelligence gathering, high-performance computing, advanced science, big-data & analytics technology for better decision making "before" spending money on drilling rock... from the old way of leveraging financial return on (heavy) assets, billing oil companies (and consumers) for activity and on-the-ground labor, micromanaging financial cost models that ultimately culminate to a result of luck balanced with human error. Because of Paradigm, Exploration and Production will never be the same. And, the O&G industry may well evolve because of the impact of Paradigm. The tectonic shift was started by Gibson's vision - now it's in the hands of the current leadership to continue the journey.

Cons

Some administrative processes can be challenging - don't cross paths with some entrenched people.
