Cons
An unbelievably incompetent and petty manager! The manager comes off as very passive aggressive, insecure, and she has a clique of workers that will gossip about employees in front of other employees to score social validity points with her. She argued with me in front of a few colleagues, and a supervisor, that a U.S. passport is not a valid I-9 document. On top of that, she insinuated that I was not a U.S. citizen! After that incident, I knew it was time to get the HECK up out of there! Severe micromanaging and she will try her hardest to make you feel insignificant. HR in Atlanta seems to be just as incompetent. They were requesting more documents from me after passing a background check prior to being hired. It's a hassle for such a pittance of a wage. The director seems apathetic most of the time and stays in his office all day to avoid the high school drama (smart move on his part). 401k seems, "meh". PTO is whack due to the fact that holidays come out of the same sick day/ vacay bank. Management said that the annual raise merits cap out around 3%. Not. Good. A'tall. From what I gathered by the other employees, there is lack of advancement and it is UBER production orientated. The Indexers are liable for Prepper and Scanners' mistakes: the Preppers and Scanners do not get correction forms or docks on their productivity logs, only the Indexers do. This will slow down the Indexers' productivity when they have to stop and correct the Prepper and Scanners' mistakes, which means Indexers will ultimately wind up with Productivity Improvement Plans set up by management. It's a total joke. I lucked out and was offered another job during my first week at Parallon and have been there for two weeks as of now.
