Pros
You can get on a good team, but that is really the only positive that I experienced.
Cons
1) pays under market 2) benefits are not competitive and lack significantly for PTO 3) it is a Christian organization very much so, despite not being openly listed as one. This is evident through corporate communications and how things are handled. Personally, I do not like to mix religious beliefs and work, and I saw many instances where it did allow for bias. 4) Upward reviews do not occur. Many people leave because of manager/leadership in their part of the company. The constant turnover should be an indication of your practices (throughout and not limited to one area) and employees who leave should not have blame placed on them. A small annual survey will not help with this. Senior leaders should meet with their workers’ workers. Just because they’re a good employee to senior leaders does not mean they are a good boss. 5) Certifications are only supported if you are in a medical position and everything else is out of pocket (i.e. professional tax, etc).
