Pros
The company offers excellent benefits, including sufficient PTO, 401K, Health & Dental, & shopping & entertainment discounts. The staff here is very friendly. I have been able to grow many acquaintances in a short period of time. The flexible scheduling is also beneficial. Most departments allows their staff to allocate their schedule during the week to receive half days (or less in some cases) on Fridays.
Cons
The policies continue to change, most times without notice. Certain dynamics in preparing the employees for their job duties is lacking. The staff is not necessarily properly trained or prepared to complete their tasks efficiently (in some areas of the building, I cannot speak for all departments). There has been constant personnel change since I have been here also, which I do not look at as a beneficial aspect either. It is normally a red flag when a company has multiple employees "in-and-out" in a period of time. Not a good look. And, probably the biggest con of all (or, at least, a tie for one of the cons stated above) is the pay. The pay is not HORRIBLE necessarily, especially for those who may just be starting out. However, the bonus is minimal (although appreciated) and there seems to be little room, if ANY, for raises during employment with Parallon. I do believe that most employees end up with the same pay that they started with, despite experience and credentials. This leaves very little incentive and motivation for employees to stick around long-term, especially in a productive manner.
