Pros
Ability to work remotely and good access to education materials.
Cons
Zero work-life balance. Most unethical management I ever had to work with. Micro management and favoritism. No room for advancement. Two faced and act like they care but they don't. Employee survey is a joke, they try to influence what you say. Formal training took few hours only (remotely) and an employee is expected to know it all. I never thought that my opinion of this company is going to mirror so many others. I came on board with high expectations and I was excited about this job. Don't believe the good reviews, are fake. Management rules by intimidation, threats of write up( for using your own PTO!, which is your hard earned money), retaliation. If you are submissive, they like you. The minute you stand up for your rights, as vacation, PTO, you are singled out. Management have double standards, is ok for them to have an Internet outage (storm, tornado etc) and be out of the office, but a staffer will have an occurrence if cannot make up the hours (even when presenting proof of Internet repairs or appointment), therefore eliminated out of the qualified pool for bonuses and the ridiculous yearly raise. You are nothing but a number, and they are all about productivity and to look good in front of CEOs and CFOs. This is a company that surrounds itself by negativity and rules by intimidation instead of valuing its employees. No wonder so many left before October 1st. Worst PTO policy I have ever seen, it's practically impossible to take time off, if you want to work for two years with no vacation, then go ahead. Expect to work every Thanksgiving and Christmas and major holiday instead of being with your family. Parallon is a for profit company and will refuse to hire outside vendors to cover for major holidays so their employees can have little time off with their dear ones. System is down a lot and employees can get terminated after few occurrences if they cannot make up hours. I don't recommend for anyone to work here, it's good after school to build experience for about a year, but not for seasoned, experienced employees that think of switching jobs. I read a review about people cheering you up when you leave, I am so relieved and happy I found something better. Pay is 25% below market for same qualifications. Management occupies themselves with petty things, instead of ruling by example.
