Pros

Management culture allows complete troglodytes to thrive, collecting a salary without doing any work whatsoever. This, however, is only a pro if you were born without a brain, and have no self-driven initiative to improve yourself or the company that you work for. Specifically, this occurs due an inability on the part of management to assess the quality of quantity of the work done by their employees. I believe this is largely due to a lack of frontal lobe development, which is again selected for by each tier of management being run in a self-consistent way, in which the upper management cannot judge the qualities of those below them, and instead attempts to blindly string along the lowest bidders for each role. This is accomplished by promising an endless string of raises, and even back-pay (though of-course not in writing) such that only those who are either gullible enough, or who are willing to accept a lower salary then the industry standards because they know their work is sub-par, still believe the scheming after a year or two, and all others have become wise enough to leave for a better job opportunity.

Cons

Parexel is a bureaucracy, not a meritocracy. If you a capable individual, above the curve, Parexel is not for you. The ecosystem composed by individuals at Parexel is constantly changing. A good company will boast that the average employee has been there some 10+ years, people choose to stay with the company, and the company does a good job of pre-screening for good people and cultivating talent. This is not the case at Parexel, where the aforementioned management technique of hiring at sub-standard wages, followed by stringing people along with empty promises until they become wise enough to leave, means that you will see many people come and go, and you will never have the pleasure of working with a well-trained and competent set of people. The smarter and more hard working the individual is, the more quickly they will leave.

Pros

Well trained managers that empower you, truly listen to you, and only do well if YOU do well/ they provide resources and definitely offer development opportunities to those who want them AND have demonstrated they can maintain their scoped, regular duties at a high level of quality while working on special development projects Also unlimited RTO in US

Cons

no bonuses and too much focus/emphasis on how many years with *Parexel*, as opposed to how many years total you have been in the industry (ex doing site management at another CRO or Sponsor group )

Pros

The only pro is that they offer remote work.

Cons

I would give zero stars if I could, but since I can’t, I’m forced to give one. They seem to have layoffs almost every year. Their US-based pharmacovigilance team was also affected in 2024 and 2025. It really feels like a hire-and-fire culture.
