Pros

Valet can be a fun fast paced job and good compensation

Cons

PMC really wasn't fast paced at my location. Minimal Cars, they docked everyone's pay a couple dollars an hour because they made a mistake giving us more at first, not allowed on phones and could not sit. In Texas heat it would be great to sit but that wasn't allowed and if you were caught there were consequences. I would totally understand if we were busy b/c then at least you got to sit when moving the cars, however there were multiple days where I got less cars then i did hours working.

Pros

extremely easy job, if you need a break from corporate and want something mindless to do this is it. Fast paces environment, Flexible, good work life balance if you are open with management about your needs. Have been here a few years and on a set schedule which works great for my life

Cons

management is horridly unorganized and/or uncaring, also extremely unprofessional (had a manager tell me intimate details about another coworker unprovoked, and the same manager mocked my disability, very male dominated field so ladies beware. Because the jobs is easy it can breed laziness in some people. On extremely busy nights when coworkers don't do their jobs correctly and it falls on me to correct everything. Also no one is ever on time. I used to arrive an hour early and leave between 1-3 hours late every day for 2 years. Now that I have gotten extremely petty and been late every day for the last 6 months it seems to be an issue. Feels like legalized slavery with the poverty wages provided
