Large company with large resources; good ESOP plan; competitive salaries; opportunity to work on phenomenal projects if you know the right people; great tuition assistance

Good ol' boys club (not a lot of room for mid-career professionals to move up); emphasis on travel and relocation mobility is discouraging for people with families; upper management is disconnected from the rest of the company; financial performance information is much too closely held

Pros

There are so many positives to working at Parsons in San Diego! The staff and management team are fantastic—everyone is incredibly kind, supportive, and always willing to lend a hand when needed. There is plenty of room for career growth, and the company truly offers a healthy work-life balance. Plus, leadership does an excellent job of recognizing and giving credit for hard work.

Cons

Honestly, nothing serious—especially compared to some tough experiences I’ve had at other companies. The only real downside is that the 401k match is a bit low compared to industry standards.
