Pros

They have health benefits for their employees, but there is really nothing else positive about this business.

Cons

At Partssource, it's all about who you are related to or who you are friends with. If you are "in" with the Dalton family, or you are friends with either the family or upper management, you get to do whatever you want, when ever you want. Anyone else will be gone in a year or less. High-pressure, low-return environment where your sales quota is based on how long you have been there, versus what your portfolio or geographical market can support (like every other sales quota in any other business). A Boys Club environment, the women who get ahead there don't do it on merit. Management treats their subordinates like idiots, hovering over their shoulders (unless you are one of the Chosen Few), and threatening people with their jobs regularly. Fear-based environment. They also hire people who have been in prison, so watch your belongings when you are there.

Pros

Team members are welcoming & invested in helping new hires get oriented, which makes onboarding significantly easier. Managers are genuinely focused on helping you succeed from the start. Boundaries are respected regarding travel expectations, roles & responsibilities- what you sign up for is what you get. The culture is notably strong & positive, with leadership actively seeking input & feedback from individual contributors before launching new initiatives. This makes people feel heard, valued, & recognized. The company maintains an inclusive, accepting approach to new team members, & there's a palpable sense of being in growth-mode, which creates energy & opportunity across the organization. Cross-functional collaboration is strong, and we continue to build on it as we scale.

Cons

Onboarding processes are being revamped, which reflects a strategic priority as the company has scaled faster than documentation & systems could keep pace. Additionally, PartsSource has historically operated with disparate systems across different functions & segements- a challenge we're actively addressing by unifying under a single integrated platform, which is both necessary & underway. As a fast-growing organization, there's an expectation to adapt quickly & juggle competing priorities as they emerge. This requires flexibility & comfort with ambiguity, which isn't for everyone, but is the reality of a high-velocity environment.

Pros

I've spent a long stretch on the Technology team here in the Hudson office, and PartsSource continues to grow, change, and evolve in a genuinely positive direction. What stands out most is leadership. They partner with and actually listen to the employee base, and they stay focused on strategic growth rather than short-term noise. The mission, "Ensuring Healthcare is Always On," isn't a poster on the wall. People here understand it and take pride in it, and that shared sense of purpose shapes the culture. Work-life balance is respected, the culture is collaborative and supportive, and there's real, continuous opportunity to learn and grow. It's been an exciting run, and I'm looking forward to what's ahead.

Cons

Growth is fast, both organic and through acquisitions, which brings occasional growing pains as the company integrates and figures things out. Part of the tradeoff for the momentum.
