Pros

Healthy PTO, great new 401(k) match, ESOP, nice co-workers, some smart new people in HR

Cons

4 HR leaders came and left in the last 3.5 years. Had a good one in early 2020, but somehow she, like the others decided to leave at the end of 2020. New HR leadership is less experienced, aggressive, not sure if they are too great. Our team is not well respected and executive leaders are a revolving door with changes every year when someone on the exec. management team leaves. Our HR programs are often abandoned halfway through implementation and senior leaders flip-flop often. Recent (last 6 months) attempts at starting diversity and inclusion are kind of weak, for example. Talk a good game, not a lot of commitment to lasting change.

Pros

Good culture, slow paced, no pressure, stable and job security

Cons

Not much challenge, opportunity for advancement and learning, pay is on the low end. Most of the employees live in 2nd tier cities on the east coast that are less expensive. If you live in a tier 1 city, the pay is way below industry average.
