Pros

Salary is competitive, a lot of food all the time around the building, work is not to demanding, management leaves you alone, you can take off when you want and come in late as often as you like and still keep your job.

Cons

They have no structure employees are allowed to take off, come in late, hang on cell phones during work hours. Upper management come in as they please. Rarely do they work their 40 hours a week. Unless you actually take a day off people do not get docked for the hours missed nor do they use their sick or vacation time to cover those hours. This is a non- for-profit organization and the funds they use to run this company is donated and I do not feel that it is right to not monitor employee activity. Employees claim they are busy. I have monitored this and employees are able to get there job done in aprox 4 hrs a day they work at a slow pace and management never has any idea what the employees are doing. I have seen a temp come in and work several months, no one monitored any of her work and actual reality the work she did was a complete waste of time and there was a waiting game involved do to the delay of her work and she was sitting on company time for almost a month with nothing to do while we paid the agency aprox $30hr. mistakes are handled by the employees and never brought to management attention. I am sorry to say that I would not suggest a loved one to reside or seek out any services with this company nor would seek employment. The company is dishonest and careless to say the least.

Pros

I am unable to provide any positive aspects based on my experience.

Cons

This company has been extremely dishonest after I spent a week training, watching modules about how their values include honesty, respect, and "humankindness". They did not display any of these values in my time here - quite the opposite on all counts. I was told my territory was one specific area - in writing, multiple times, prior to starting as well as up to the day of my termination - and was working in that area. They asked me to help out in another area (well over an hour from where I live) and when I refused, they terminated me without notice based on my "unwillingness to cover the territory required by your employment agreement". I was able to respond with the multiple written forms of communication which state my territory was the one I covered. As a contractor, you have little legal coverage and they are well aware and took advantage of this. On my last day after I had just received notice one hour prior of my termination (through the grapevine - management never even so much as sent me a message that anything was problematic) I was at the office dropping off my trunk supplies respectfully and professionally, and when on my way out I said a polite goodbye to someone who had trained me the week prior, the HR woman shouted down the hallway "I need you to leave now!" and stormed after me, as if she was escorting me out of the building and said "I don't need you causing a ruckus." I was truly shocked by the behavior of every single person involved in this. I would highly avoid this company, especially as a contractor, unless you are willing to do whatever they want at any given moment and are willing to risk termination without warning. I will note that I am an exemplary employee and did my job here and everywhere I have worked thoroughly and more importantly with honesty, kindness, and respect for patients and colleagues alike. Further, I was employed with this company in the past and they are aware that my behavior is professional and exemplary as a physical therapist. Since then, management has changed and taken a complete 180 for the worst. I had been warned by past employees who left the company about this 180, but I didn't understand how bad it could be.
