Pros

Great working Envrioment Great team, all working towards one collective goal Fast paced work Ability to take control of your own time Training and development was in your own hands.

Cons

Some of the managers haven’t been trained well enough and make counter intuitive comments behind closed doors. Process’ are never followed Some people hoard knowledge and don’t want to share/upskill the wider team. Hard to be promoted whilst working in certain teams - no progression plan/teams feel forgotten about.

It is worrying to hear that you feel access to opportunities to grow is inconsistent across different teams. With 14,000 courses available to everyone through our Pax8 Elev8 platform - plus customised vendor training, self driven access to mentors around the business, benefits that can be utilised to explore personal growth outside the business - we do believe there is ample opportunity for growth available to everyone. Of course there is always a limit to the management layers we can put into our business, to ensure we stay agile and less bureaucratic but even so, 55% of our people in EMEA moved in their role last year. On top of this we are investing in our internal Talent and Career development department to ensure we retain people. We’re really sorry you weren’t able to realise this opportunity for your own growth but we sincerely hope you find what you are looking for in your next role.

Pax8 is awesome! It's a very diverse culture both professionally and personality-wise and they care!

Pros

Strong individual contributors who are partner-centric. New office is nice for hybrid work.

Cons

What was once a strong culture has eroded significantly due to poor leadership, misaligned talent in key roles, and a chronic lack of strategic direction and communication. Tenure or relationships are rewarded over competence, and those at the top protect each other — even when decisions have negatively impacted the business and/or partners. People are treated as revenue-generating assets, not human beings. Leadership is so deeply disconnected from the real problems that have persisted for years.
