Pros

Friendly staff, managers are pretty relaxed. Never work overtime, no evenings or weekends.

Cons

Benefits are not anywhere near as good as promised. Not really sales the way it’s structured. AM’s pass the sale to other people to show value (they aren’t great at it) then pass it back to close. More than 3/4 of my oops die before it comes back to me. Quotas have become unattainable and they keep increasing them every quarter. They think $25 gift cards are something that will drive staff to work harder. It doesn’t. They act like trips to meet your pipeline is a bonus or luxury, not the work that it is. They send marketing people to sales events and expect the sales team to sell to them from a distance.

Pax8 is awesome! It's a very diverse culture both professionally and personality-wise and they care!

Pros

Strong individual contributors who are partner-centric. New office is nice for hybrid work.

Cons

What was once a strong culture has eroded significantly due to poor leadership, misaligned talent in key roles, and a chronic lack of strategic direction and communication. Tenure or relationships are rewarded over competence, and those at the top protect each other — even when decisions have negatively impacted the business and/or partners. People are treated as revenue-generating assets, not human beings. Leadership is so deeply disconnected from the real problems that have persisted for years.
